Rub-a-dub-dub

Lamentably, this is not a post about the tribe’s bathtime antics, which could fill a separate blog; instead, this is a note to let all of you know that there won’t be a regular morning post today.  Our house has two bathrooms, one of which (the downstairs) we’ve used mostly for storage for the last seven years.  Daddy and I decided that the kids need their own bathroom, because their propensity for splashing water out of the tub is eventually going to cause the floor in the upstairs bath to fail.  Instead of writing a regular blog post, I am working on getting that bathroom together this morning.  There’s a time factor involved which I will explain in my next post, which may show up at an irregular time this afternoon.

Please feel free to read through some of the older posts, and thanks for your patience.

Today’s prayer:  Lord, You have Your ways of letting us know when we have too much stuff.  Thank You for providing us with such abundance, and with enough neighbors who can use it that we are almost always in a position to help those whom You have blessed differently.  Please remind us that our treasures are not of this earth, and help us teach Your blessings that when we give material goods away, we are storing up wealth of a different sort in Your kingdom.

Please share your thoughts! I don't know who reads this, but the stats tell me someone does. I'd like to know what you took from our little stories and prayers.
